1. From the Layers menu, select New Adjustment layer>Levels.
  2. In the New Layer dialog, click OK.
  3. Adjust the input levels.

4. To colorize the image: from the Layers menu, select New Adjustment layer>Hue/Saturation.

5. In the New Layer dialog, click OK.

6. Enable the Colorize checkbox.

7. Adjust the Hue and Saturation values.
